Rehab United is seeking an OT who can improve the health and wellness of the patients seen in our Kearny Mesa facility. Essential Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and cognitive abilities, as well as their environment and activities of daily living (ADLs)
- Develop individualized treatment plans for patients
- Educate patients and their caretakers on effective strategies for managing symptoms and improving outcomes
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and physical therapists, to provide well-rounded, comprehensive care
- Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in accordance with company and insurance standards
Required Qualifications:
- Occupational Therapy License - National registration and CA state licensure are REQUIRED.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and biomechanics, particularly of the upper extremity
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-based environment
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and continued education
- CPR/First aid certification required

Compensation:
$36.00-$48.00 Hourly commensurate with experience.
NOTE: FLSA status will transition from hourly non-exempt to salaried exempt following 90 days of employment, provided the criteria outlined in California's salaried exempt regulations is fulfilled.
