- Treatment: Execute appropriate evidence-based patient intervention and treatment progressions under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, as dictated by the initial evaluation, plan of care and subsequent progress assessments. Report any changes in patient status or needs to supervising therapist on a timely basis. Communicate treatment variations to patients and clinical staff and provide thorough explanations and education to patients, particularly pertaining to home exercise programs (KEET). Perform safe application of modalities. • Documentation: Complete documentation according to RU and medical necessity standards (see Documentation

• Billing: Apply appropriate billing codes as trained. Actively collaborate with billing team in a timely manner for all
inquiries, issues or discrepancies pertaining to billing claims.
• Patient Management: Exercise all company practices for proper scheduling and patient retention. This includes
communication to the patient, Front Office communication, detecting gaps in treatment, following up with the patient
and overseeing MD, regularly providing patient with status updates and establishing a plan for continued treatment.
• Business Development: Contribute to the company’s growth by partaking in marketing endeavors. Company marketing
strategies include, but are not limited to, physician networking and relationship building, social media participation,
program/services development and promotion of all RU services (Resolve Wellness, Fit Societe).
• Professional Development / Continuing Education: Actively participate in co-treatment opportunities, seek
mentorship, support staff development, and engage with RUniversity. Expand field knowledge through additional
study, research, seminars/webinars and courses. Demonstrate an ability to apply new information to enhance job
efficacy. *All treating Physical Therapist Assistants are individually responsible for meeting any and all requirements for
PTA license maintenance, without lapse.
• Team Responsibilities: RU always strives for a team approach, which means that all company employees are
responsible for assisting with opening/closing duties and facility/equipment sanitization to ensure a safe environment
for patients and staff. All Covid protocols must be followed at all times as they apply. Maintain a professional and
organized atmosphere, and assisting other departments when needed (e.g., answering phones).
Requirements:
- CA Physical Therapy Assistant License, or PTALA status
- Confident and Independent
- Comfortable with social media
